Live with Rainmaker
Electronic Voyage Report
The system, which would normally require an implementation period of six to twelve months, went live on 13th May 2008 with a record implementation period of just 35 days. The automated allowance module of Rainmaker will go live on the 1st July 2008. The system received CAA Approval on day 44. It means that 95% of all pilot voyage reports are centrally collected within a very short time after duty conclusion, and all information distributed in a timely and accurate manner.
Conference for Rainmaker Operations Intelligence Users
The inaugural user conference for the Rainmaker Operations Intelligence users took place in Dublin on 28th and 29th of July. This was the first of what we hope to be valuable sequence of forums aimed at discussing future demands and expectations and any other customer concern that may arise. The conversation was extremely strategic and the focus on Operations Intelligence, and the progress we are asking to Business Intelligence, was supportive of our product planning and informative of your needs. Our focus on fuel related cost cutting and management is clearly the most important aspect of our future plan.
